Urbanwall is a small architecture and interior design studio led by Nabiya Naik. We design residences, redevelopment projects, and interiors across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and the western coast — eight projects a year, taken on personally.
The Studio · About Urbanwall
A small architecture studio in Navi Mumbai.
Urbanwall is led by Nabiya Naik, an architect from Navi Mumbai. The studio takes on six to eight projects a year — small enough that each one gets the attention an heirloom requires, large enough to handle a fifty-floor tower.
We work across what Mumbai families actually ask for. Refits and full interiors in Vashi, Kharghar, Belapur, and Nerul. Sea-facing penthouses in Worli and Bandra. Society redevelopment projects across Navi Mumbai. Weekend houses in Alibaug and Lonavala. The standard does not move with the budget.
We don’t chase every brief. We accept the ones we can finish properly.
The team is eight people: two senior architects, two juniors, an interiors lead, a planner, and two execution specialists who live on site through construction. We don’t outsource site supervision — that part has to be ours, or the drawing was never the point.
Materials we keep coming back to: Italian travertine, Indian walnut, lime plaster, brushed brass, terrazzo, and the Bombay light that turns everything warm at five.

Five disciplines, one studio. Whether it’s a 1,200 sq ft refit in Vashi or a fifty-floor residential tower in Belapur, the work goes through the same hands.

Most projects sit within a one-hour radius of the studio in Vashi. We accept projects further afield when the brief is right.

VillaTravertina.
A weekend home for a Mumbai family, set into a quiet rise above the coast. Drawn around three internal courtyards in roman travertine, walnut, and lime plaster. Designed for monsoon — not despite it.
